Deletion of a Panka account

Last updated: 7 August 2026

The data subject may request deletion of their account at any time, without having to give reasons and without having to install or reopen the application. This document sets out the effects of deletion on the data processed and provides the form for submitting the request.

1. Data subject to deletion

2. Time limits

Deletion is carried out within thirty days of receipt of the request and, as a rule, sooner. The data subject is notified once it has been completed.

In order to verify ownership of the account, the Controller may first contact the data subject at the email address used at registration.

The request itself is handled in the same way as any other message sent from the website: it is stored in the database hosted in Ireland and delivered to the Controller by email. It is retained for 24 months solely in order to demonstrate that it has been acted upon, as set out in the website’s personal data processing notice.

3. Notices

  • Deletion is final and no restoration of the data is provided for.
  • A user who is the administrator of a team must transfer that role to another member before proceeding; failing that, the team would be left without an administrator.

4. Alternative means

The request may also be sent directly to privacy@panka.app from the email address associated with the account, with the same effect as the form set out below.

Together with deletion, the data subject may request a copy of their data and exercise the other rights provided for in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR.

Deletion request

Completing this form submits the request to the personnel responsible for handling it. The data provided are used solely to identify the account and to confirm that deletion has taken place.

Please state the address used at registration: it is required in order to identify the account and to verify ownership.
